This is a very short post to introduce an Animation tool i’ve been working on – and finally consider share-worthy, though is still in Beta.

2025 felt like the year of animated infographics on LinkedIn.

My feed was full of fancy animated GIFs, usually about AI, that I really liked and often saved to review later.

But I also wished creators were more transparent about how they’d made them, as I spent more time than I’d like trying (and failing) to wrangle PowerPoint into doing anything close.

So I built a simple tool to make these types of animations a bit more accessible:

As you’ll see though, I got a bit carried away, and you can use Animatey for a lot more than infographics.

Now… this isn’t me committing to making any nice infographics in 2026 – I’m sure I’ll find something else to distract myself with. But if it’s useful to anyone else, that’s a win.
